Cardhu 12 yrs 700ml is a superb representative of the Speyside whiskies produced by one of the oldest distilleries in the region, which has been tucked away in the foothills close to the River Spey for 200 years. The history of Cardhu’s ascent to prominence is mostly narrated by two resolute ladies who were part of the founding family. Cardhu is known for its smooth, sweet-natured single malt whisky.
Cardhu 12 yrs 700ml It has a soft and sweet character with fruity aromas of grilled pineapple, honey-soaked pears and fresh melon notes on the nose. The palate is soft, a silky mouthfeel, with dominant notes of pineapple and mango preceding those of honey, banana, and toffee. The finish is soft and fruity, with lingering notes of raisin and honey.
Great on its own, with a bit of ice, or served long with a splash of water.
Has an alcohol percentage of 40%
